Kim Kardashian kicked off the New Year with a bang! Literally, at a New Year Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas, she wore her long hair straight down with bangs. Clip-in bangs or not, her long hairstyle looked stylish and luxurious.
That shiny, slick look is attainable, even for those of us who rang in the New Year on a much smaller scale than a Kardashian. (Photo: hairdo BANG from Jessica Simpson and Ken Paves)
Trim. Regularly. While it is a myth that this will make your hair grow faster, one thing a regular trim will do: eliminate split ends, making hair look better. The longer the hair, the less likely to get moisture from the scalp of natural oils. As a result, the hair tip branching or appear rude because dry can not be prevented. Therefore, Titi Branches (co-founder of Miss Jessie’s) suggests, you need to do the trimming at least once every two months in order not to dry the hair.
Detangle. The DailyGlow suggests investing in a top quality hairbrush with natural bristles and wide toothed comb to detangle your long hair. Comb through wet hair from roots to tips, making sure the ends are completely tangle free without pulling on the ends to make them so.
Fortunately, Mane ‘n Tail has a product to help with the above two tips. An exclusive pH balanced formula that is easy to use and helps eliminate tangles and knots and the appearance of dry split ends, check out our Detangler.
Moisturize. Always use conditioner after you shampoo. If you have oily hair (many people with fine hair, do), apply conditioner to the bottom two-thirds of your hair. If you have normal or dry hair, try a leave-in conditioner, applied to ends. Mane ‘n Tail offers a wide range of conditioners to meet your hair type.
